Muslim Congress held its inaugural conference in 2005 in Houston, TX. Annual conferences are a major event on Muslim Calendar’s calendar every year. The conference features a theme around which lectures, workshops and breakout sessions are organized. The conference is held on a weekend during summer in different cities around the country. The tenth annual conference is being held in Dallas, TX from Aug 7-10th.
Purpose of the Annual Conferences is to promote relationships, build bridges, provide services to the community at-large, establish unity among all the Muslims living in different parts of North America.
The conference features scholars from the around the world as well as other prominent guests. The attendance at the conference has been steadily growing from about 500 participants during the inaugural conference to almost 2000. It is a great opportunity to learn, network, socialize and interact.
